ABSTRACT
The aim of the study. The research is aimed at studying of lycopid and lactobacterin immunotherapeutic efficiency in patients with chronic periodontitis.
Objects and methods. 67 patients with chronic periodontitis and without background somatic pathology at the age from 19 to 48 years were examined. Patients were divided into 3 studying groups with similar clinical, immunological, age and gender parameters.
Results and discussion. The deviations in general and local immune status were revealed in patients with chronic periodontitis, which were manifested in a reduced level of CD3 + T-total lymphocytes, CD4 + T-helpers, salivary Ig A and oral microbial biofilm changes. Significant rise in IgA level of oral fluid from 0.09±0.07 g / l to 0.16±0.1 g / l was noted in the main group (I) wich used lycopid. Decreased level of IgG from 0.61±0.46 g / l to 0.35 g / l was detected. In the main (II) group with immunotherapy provided by simultaneous lycopid and lactobacterin significant increase of IgA from 0.12±0.18 g / l to 0.3±0.24 g / l was manifested by the majority of group members. IgG level declined from 0.57±0.57 g / l to 0.21±0.31 g / l.
Conclusion. The study approve significant positive dynamics of the most clinical and microbiological parameters, stimulation of local defense mechanisms, correction of oral microbial biofilm, normalization of immunological parameters of general and local immunity in patients with chronic periodontitis. After immunotherapy patients had a long-term remission.
