Modern methods of planning and prosthetics with fixed structures based on dental implants

ABSTRACT
Determining the optimal treatment plan for a particular patient requires a thorough examination and planning.
The aim of the study is to develop an algorithm for planning and prosthetics with fixed orthopedic structures using the digital protocol of dental implantation.
Objects and methods. We used the program of the manufacturer MGUIDE for the digital planning of dental implantation with making a surgical template and prostheses. This software allows you to conduct virtual planning based on DICOM data, as well as design and fabricate surgical templates and prostheses.
Results and discussion. The use of modern technologies in implant dentistry opens up significant new opportunities in the diagnosis, surgical intervention and orthopedic treatment. The introduction of digital planning in implantation has a significant number of advantages for the entire team of dentists, as well as for the patient. The biggest advantage is the predominance of preoperative planning over intraoperative. Implantation becomes a more comfortable, predictable and faster treatment.
Conclusion. The use of special programs for evaluating three-dimensional digital information of the dentofacial system is an innovative approach in modern dentistry. The manufacture of a navigation template made it possible to obtain valuable information about defects, the amount of necessary regeneration and the optimal position of dental implants, which confirms the advisability of using this algorithm when planning implantological and orthopedic treatment. The use of ceramic-metal orthopedic constructions and individual titanium abutments provide a favorable long-term prognosis and, in the presence of optimal conditions, allow achieving a good aesthetic and functional result.
