ABSTRACT
The clinical features of periodontal diseases dictate to the dentist to plan competent therapeutic and diagnostic measures aimed at eliminating errors and complications in the process of his practice. The effectiveness of dental restoration depends on the choice of targeted principles of compliance with the anatomical and topographical zones of the periodontium. Practice has shown the feasibility of an adequate choice of methodological approach in creating a peri-restoration complex.
The aim of the study. Evaluation of the effectiveness of the concept of creating a peri-restorative complex for dental restoration.
Objects and methods. An objective assessment of clinical data was carried out over 10 years in dental patients (2647 people) based on the analysis of clinical examination data and the study of a set of objective indicators. Control examinations were carried out immediately after restoration measures, after 3, 6, 12 months. The effectiveness of creating a peri-restoration complex was assessed according to good, satisfactory and unsatisfactory results.
Results and discussion. The principles of creating a peri-restorative complex and the main therapeutic and preventive measures were developed, and characteristics of various types of adaptation of nearby tissues to restoration in dental patients were given.
Conclusion. For adequate adaptation of nearby tissues to dental restoration of dental patients, the basic principles of creating a peri-restorative complex should be taken into account, which makes it possible to obtain good results in 98 % of cases.
