ABSTRACT
The aim. To study the effect of the screw dental implant surface profile on osseointegration.
Materials and methods. 5 different implant systems, which have different ways of modifying surfaces, were subjected to research.
Results and discussion. Having studied the degree of surface roughness of the selected samples using probe microscopy, it turned out that the treatment using a biologically active ceramic powder provides the most developed surface microrelief and the highest roughness values (Sa up to 198.2 nm).
Conclusion. In the course of experimental studies, it was found that dental implants with a bioceramic coating provide osseointegration in a short timeframe from 3 to 4 months with the formation of a highquality bone matrix in the peri-implant zone, which allows accelerating the orthopedic load stage of dental implants.

Keywords: dental implant, osseointegration, roughness, bone matrix
