Direct dental implantation with application of porous titanium

ABSTRACT
The aim. The article presents an improved method of direct dental implantation, the essence of which is the atraumatic removal of a damaged tooth of the Easy X-Trac-system system, which preserves the integrity of the walls of the alveoli, using porous titanium, which excludes implant mobility.
Objects and methods. Direct dental implantation was performed in 56 patients who received 67 implants of the following systems: “Osstem”, “Alfa Bio” and “Astra tech”.
Results and discussion. In all clinical cases osteointegration by osteoid type was observed. Complications were observed in 4 patients (7.1%) in the form of peri-implantitis, the effectiveness of treatment was 92.9%.
Conclusion. An improved method of direct dental implantation using the Easy X-Trac-system for atraumatic tooth extraction and the introduction of porous titanium has shown its high efficiency and can be recommended for wider use in dental practice.
