ABSTRACT
The priority direction of the modern state policy in the field of public health is the study of the actual state of health of the population of the Republic of Belarus with the aim of forecasting the volumes of medical care, determining the national system for the prevention and treatment of diseases. The study of the prevalence of dental diseases among the population of Belarus, in turn, belongs to one of the most pressing health problems.
The aim. The aim of the study is to assess the prevalence of orthopedic dental diseases among the adult population of Mogilev.
Objects and methods. The data of 1018 dental outpatient records of patients who in 2017-2019 applied for dental care in the orthopedic department of the Mogilev Regional Self-Supporting Dental Clinic in Mogilev were analyzed.
Results and discussion. As a result of the analysis, it was found that in patients from 18 to 34 years of age, a complete secondary adentia was not recorded. Partial secondary adentia was detected in 183 (54.79%) patients of this age group, and dental filling is the predominant dental treatment. In patients aged 35-44, there is a tendency to an increase in defects in the crown of teeth by more than 40%, and tooth extraction and the establishment of artificial crowns are more often recorded. In patients (45 years and older), the percentage of extracted teeth increases by 5.2 times.
Conclusion. There is a dynamics of the growth of pathologies in the dentoalveolar system with increasing age, while the features of structural changes are identified and, in accordance with them, a strategy for preventive and therapeutic measures aimed at maintaining the physiological and aesthetic function of the teeth should be developed.

Keywords: dental diseases, structural analysis, defects of the crown part of the tooth, partial secondary edentulous, complete secondary edentulous, prosthetics
