Factors influencing the quality of dental assistance to the population

ABSTRACT
The aim of study. Analysis of factors affecting the quality of dental care.
Objects and methods. In the conditions of urban clinics, the factors affecting the quality of dental care have been studied. The study was carried out by analyzing the results of a survey of 380 dentists of various specializations working in dental clinics of state ownership.
Results and discussion. The respondents noted the qualifications of specialists with the highest ratings among the factors affecting the quality of dental care in the clinic. Less significant reasons for the decline in the quality of dental care for the population, according to experts who participated in the survey, were the lack of control by the administration and defects in the design of medical
documentation.
Conclusions.. It has been established that among the factors ensuring the improvement of the quality of dental care for the population, the structural components characterizing the organizational and technical quality of resources prevail: the material and technical base and personnel of dental organizations.
